As many of you are aware, Metroid Headquarters had experienced remarkable growth since its inception in the summer of 2004. It started as a forum, then it got a website, and now it's one of the leading Metroid communities on the World Wide Web. But, personally, I've always found that online only places are a bit non-personal; they don't give you that "Hi, I'm here to help" feel. Well, my friends, with the following announcement, all of that is about to change.

Yeah yeah, I know, lack of updates. Truth is, I've been busy with finishing up some school things, and I'll probably be busy for a while. But that's not to say there won't be updates. I'll make them as news comes up. On that note, check out a cool fan game being made by one of MHQ's members, DoctorM64. It's being tentatively called Project AM2R for now, which stand for Another Metroid 2 Remake. You can check out it's progress here.
Also, our affiliate Phazon.org has been revamped, so be sure to check it out. One last thing, one of the things I've been busy with is making films for school projects. This is one I helped my film teacher out with; it's called The Interrogator. I'd recommend checking it out as well. That's it for now, stay tuned for any news that may come up in the future.
As you may have noticed, most (if not all) of the images on MHQ hosted by Imageshack are not showing correctly. Please know that myself, as well as other are trying to rectify the the situation as quickly as possible.
Edit- As of February 6th, 2008 the image are back up. Expect all images to be hosted on MHQ from now on.
Metroid Headquarters has a new affiliate, GameValor! A very professionally made and content rich site, our affiliation GameValor should hopefully provide both of our communities with more members! In other news, there's still no word on any new Metroid games (V_V), and work on the admin CP has slowed down. But our forum moderator Axion (who also made my awesome avatar) has started a Metroid Photo Hunt contest that can be found in the General Metroid Discussion Forum.
For the past two weeks or so, Shrander an I have have been working on the website so that site admins can easier update the website (ex. updates, fan games, affiliates, etc.) While the update system is done, we still have to work on the games, fan games, affiliates, downloads, and RSS feed done. However, many who are in school are about to get off break, and as a result, activity will probably drop here at MHQ, more than likely affecting us as well. I'm currently working on the games, and Shrander on the fan games. I'm almost don with my section, and, while I'm finishing things up, you might see some occasional glitches on the website pages associated with the Metroid games, so if you run into one of those, my apologies, and it will be gone momentarily.
