Well folks, Nintendo just held their press conference for E3, and no new Metroid to be seen (though in one of the tech demos shown for Cafe...er...Wii U they had some Metroid related props in use). The highlights involved more details on some upcoming 3DS games, and the unveiling of the Wii's successor, Wii U. What was shown primarily focused on the new controller, which in many ways mirrored the classic controller for the Wii with a massive touch screen in the middle. The graphics shown were quite impressive, rivaling if not surpassing some of the PS3 trailers I've seen. It also opened up many possibilities to new ways to play games on a home console. There's quite a bit to see from Nintendo this year, so be sure to check it all out over at their E3 HQ. |
