As you may or may not have gathered already from either our comments or by other websites, Team ninja's newest Dead or Alive game for the Nintendo 3DS features a stage that is modeled after the Geothermal Power Plant found in Metroid: Other M. In the level, Ridley hovers in the background and acts as a sort of obstacle that gets in the way/deals damage to players. The stage also features Samus in a cameo role (it has been confirmed that she is NOT a playable character) to assist players at certain times. We're still on the lookout for more news of a new Metroid title on any nintendo system, so be sure and stay tuned right here at MHQ for all the latest info! |

| It's only the most fantastic thing to happen to DoA ever. I fangirl'd a little when I saw a video for it, though I was a little disappointed that they used Ridley in that particular form. But hey, it's better than no Ridley at all. I don't know why I was surprised that they used an Other M stage... hmm. But, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more. All I saw was her come into the scene in morph ball form, so I'm wondering if they'll show her in her full body suit or not. |
