Super Metroid for Wii U VC

Earlier today, Nintendo held a globally broadcast Nintendo Direct where they unveiled a number of things upcoming for the Wii U. And, while it was a glorious day for Zelda fans and other video games series, there was a bit of Metroid news in the mix. Coming soon in 2013, the Virtual Console for the Wii U will launch, and with it (to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of the NES) a new release every month until July will come out at a discounted price of 30¢ for 30 days. For the month of May, the game is Super Metroid, which will be playable on both the TV or gamepad.
