I go by Axion. Why? Personal choice. I happen to be 19 years of age, and in college for a Digital Arts major. I commit most of my time to graphic design, retro video game production, and digital arts (including music), but most of my time goes to my girlfriend. How did I get here? Well ... Metroid has always been my favorite game. Ever since Fusion. Yeah, I loved I, II, and Super, but it didn't really hit me till Fusion came out. Of course I am also now addicted to Phazon. But aren't we all?

Hey, Dragon here. Metroid Headquarters was first forum I have ever been to. And
since I have been here so long, I can proudly call MHQ my home! I registered
here a few years ago, an unimportant amature fangame creator. The people at MHQ helped me along with my games, and now I am much better with programming
my games. Sometimes I do minor graphic art such as sigs and small sprites,
but I favor game design and creating the basic engines.

Hm... A bio about me... Well, for starters, I stumbled across MHQ in June of 05 through Google, and I'm pleased to say that I have not regretted that one bit. Out of all the forums I found then, MHQ has been the sole one that has survived this long and isn't about to kick the bucket either. I've always been a fan of the metroid series though admittedly, I didn't know a lot about the series as a whole when I joined. I can say that quickly changed afterwards. After spending about maybe six months at MHQ, I learned about fangames, and it was through that discovery that I found game creation as a hobby. All in all, I'm glad to be a mod at this fantastic place, and won't be leaving until the very end.

Gendreavus's humble origins begin on the GameFAQs boards as a nobody, and quite a bit of one at that. After being pointed to Samus.co.uk by a member fed up with his lack of knowledge, he left his position of nobody at GameFAQs for SCU...as another nobody. Nobody was the story of his life, all the way until he found Metroid Headquarters, soon after finding which there was an opening for a moderator. Mistaking Gendreavus for a somebody, MetroidMaster1914 gave him the job. Following this mistake, more and more people began to mistake Gendreavus for a somebody. So many people mistook him for one that people began listening to him, and after being listened to for some time it was decided that someone like that should be a leader of the community, ending up in his promotion to adminship. After his promotion, Gendreavus hasn't really been sure what to call himself, so he leaves it up to others. Somebody, nobody, Douglass, whatever. Just don't call him late for dinner.

Hmm, I've been part of MHQ since May 05. It was one of the first forums I visited. Of all the forums I visited when I first got the internet (April 05) MHQ is the only one I still go to. I love the Metroid Series, It's one of my favorites. I'm an avid gamer and budding artist and writer. I've done some of the imagery work for MHQ like the banner and affiliates button. I'm happy to be hangin around MHQ, its a pretty decent place. Most of the Metroid forums I went to were overrun by idiots. But we've managed to keep the noob population low here. So until the earth swallows up my internet I guess I'll stick around.

I was introduced to the online Metroid community in January of 2004 when I joined the Nintendo Nsider forums looking for all the info on Metroid Prime 2 that I could find. Eventually my search led me to Samus.co.uk. After I found the info I was looking for, I decided to stick around. To be honest, I made the MHQ forum at a time when everyone was making their own forum, and I never thought it would take off like it did. Sure, it had rough patches on it's path, as I have, but in the end, thanks to a lot more people than just me, MHQ is what it is today. I'm always around, so if you need help with anything I'll be more than happy to help as best I can.

Hello everyone, this is Shrander. Some may know me off of IGN as Droonandi, or at other places as well, Shrander. I am just a basic yet complex person that hardly fits into any crowd, yet I wedge myself into many. I do work in a variety of areas, and as for gamemaking, I used to use RPG Maker to start, then I moved towards The Games Factory 1, and I am sticking to mainly it, and I try to help with the Fan Game here called Corruption whenever I can. I do not use Game Maker, I really do not like it, probably since I do not wish to learn another programming language right now. I enjoy working on TGF, making graphic art, spriting, playing games, building things with my old legos, and watching old movies. I came to MHQ a year and a half to two years ago, and it has been great here. The main games I play right now are Metroid Prime Hunters and Oblivion. I am one of the few or possibly only one to make an in depth glitch guide for MPH, and to be releasing it out. To find it, just go to the MPH area on this site.

Inspired by MP2D and on a quest to make my own fan-game, I found MHQ as an affiliate link from the MP2D website, where I became interested in the fan-gaming section of the forum. It wasn't long before I posted my own fan-game "Metroid X" and due to its success was given a sub-forum of my own which led to an moderator membership.
